#060 HOW TO BUILD A WITCH SHOE

I have been painting witch shoes for a few years.  All of my unpainted surfaces (future witch shoes) have been found at thrift stores.  I look for black short boots and higher topped shoes and have even painted on funky clunky black shoes.  It would not be prudent to design for any one style of shoe.  So…what I have come up with is a series of designs (components) that can be used to paint any shoe and the colors I have used.  The nice thing about buying used shoes is that you can paint one to sell and one to keep or keep both…. These are great accent pieces and fun to paint.  Feel free to add any other details – customize to your taste for sure.  The components can be enlarged or minimized to fit your shoe.

This pattern was published in Pixelated Palette in August of 2016.
