I have been making soap for years.  I started out making our family's hand soap and have been making hand soap to sell in shops and online as well.  I love making soap!  I love trying different techniques, different swirl designs and have recently added in making soap dough and then crafting items to embellish my soap with the soap dough.

The leaves and sunflower is made of soap dough.

This should come as no surprise to anyone but I love sunflowers!  I chose The Sunflower Cupboard as the name of my business and I have painted many many items with sunflowers!  Also, when I had a garden, I planted lots of sunflowers!  

I wanted to make the soap a little extra special so I created a sunflower and leaf out of soap dough which I also made.  

It is scented with Vetiver fragrance oil, which is a complex scent and just lovely!

This soap would be a wonderful gift for a gardener (novice or expert) or of course anyone who just loves sunflowers, teachers, coworkers, family members....they sky is the limit!!  

I live in an apartment now and get compliments on how nice it is to go past my door and enjoy whiffs of whatever soap I have just made and of course, my apartment always is delightfully scented!

WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE!  This is a new addition to my Cold Process Hand Soap section of my shop!   Hmmm....an Easter Egg soap, that took some thinking.  The eggs were easy (made out of homemade soap dough) but what would the color of the base be?  I opted to a bluish lavender and then added some biodegradable glitter!  This soap is scented with Raspberry Jam fragrance oil and it is perfect!  

Naturally, this would be wonderful for an Easter gift or Spring gift, or any gift!

Winter and Christmas Season are coming soon!  I have been working on my Winter collection and this was one piece I loved designing and making!  

I wanted a red and white swirl design but also a topical design and chose green leaves and holly berries with an extra sprinkle of snow on top.  Not only does it look great but it smells wonderful!  The swirl is both bold and wispy!  This is sure to be a great gift (or a gift for you)!  

It really is a versatile and lovely soap!

HALLOWEEN IS UPON US ALREADY!  I have been so busy making soap that I lost track of the time.  This is one of my Halloween soaps and I love the swirl so much and the colors!

I have been using one of the samples of this soap and it is to creamy and the lather is amazing!  I would like to say it witch-approved but then I would have to be a witch!  The scent is Witches Brew which is a celebration of patchouli, cinnamon and cedarwood.

These can be purchased locally (just in case)!

Halloween Season is upon us!  This design has so many components - a bat, crescent moon, stars all embedded and visible from first handwash to the last!

Scented with Witches Brew which is a celebration of patchouli, cinnamon and cedarwood.

Fun to design for sure!

The scent on this is amazing....so crisp and clean (eucalyptus and peppermint).  I decided to make this a 3 layer soap starting with a dark indigo, then a medium indigo and then a very creamy off white with a softly carved top.  It looks very stylish and the scent is memorable for all the right reasons!

This soap probably will not be available very long - lots of positive feedback.  Would be a wonderful stocking stuffer, coworker gift (for everyone), hostess gift...you are only limited by your imagination!  No, seriously this soap is amazing!

I love this title.  I found a fragrance oil of the same name and had to combine the two.  The soap has a total of 7 colors - colors of the rainbow - combined in a lovely muted fashion.  This has a lovely swirl to it and the colors just seem to blend in and out of the design.  

This was a technique I have been looking at and trying to figure out how best to do it and I did it!  Hope you like it!  

I wanted to come up with a soap that would represent the Caribbean Sea - the aqua blue of the sea for starters!  I made a swirl of an aqua and a very pale light green and mixed in with the white background I think it works!  The scent is a mix of lime and eucalyptus.  The top of the bar is swirled with the above-mentioned colors.

The soap itself is made with coconut oil, shea butter and olive oil which makes a delightful bar of soap.  The swirl, of course, goes all through the soap.

Summer in the garden, such a wonderful time and so many memories.  This soap satisfies a little bit of the longing to garden - a cherry tomato soap scented with Farmer's Market Tomato fragrance oil!  The base of the soap is a swirl pattern, the top is solid colored and yes, there is a cherry tomato on top (red, orange or red orange).

I originally made this soap during a demonstration where I live which was so much fun!  It is amazing to see how mixing together some oils and lye water can make soap!  The class stopped by the next day and I demonstrated cutting the soap and explained a bit about letting the soap "rest" for a while. 

I used two essential oils to scent the soap- orange essential oil and patchouli.  The scent is intoxicating!  I kept the soap simple to let the scent talk for itself!  The top of the soap was gently sculpted and then scattered a little bit of glitter on top!  I would definitely consider this soap as a "class act"!

Yes, I went there....I had a wild hair to make a carrot in the dirt soap!  I must have been missing gardening.  

The soap's ingredients are:  Olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, sodium hydroxide, distilled water, Garden Party fragrance oil (fresh and floral scent with a mix of grapefruit, melon, cyclamen, jasmine, heliotrope and raspberry with notes of cherry blossom, musk and white amber), micas - Pumpkin Orange, Sexy Stranger, Lush and White and of course, lots of love!

This soap was designed in early February to celebrate Valentine's Day but every day should be about Valentine's Day!

The soap has a white background with swirls of pink and a pale minty green plus the added bonus of pink and green hearts that are embedded in the soap bars!  

The fragrance oil used is Victorian Rose.  The micas used to color the soap are Sea Glass and Flirt and titanium dioxide.  There is some sparkly glitter on top and of course, LOTS OF LOVE!
