As a gardener, I always planted calendula in my flower garden. The mix of yellow and orange blossoms was always a striking combination. I had read that the dried petals could be put into soap both as a coloring agent and as an herb. I have a bunch of dried calendula and chopped the dried blossoms up and used them in a batch of soap! It provided a very soft pale yellow color to the soap.
The soap is made of sodium hydroxide, distilled water, dried calendula petals, coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil, castor oil, Garden party fragrance oil and lots of love!
Estimated weight of each soap bar is 4.5 ounces.
