I created this original pattern from a photo I took of some of my treasured Christmas decorations.  The tin piece I painted on fits it to a T but this pattern can be painted on any surface of your choice.  It can be enlarged or reduced, your choice.  There are a lot of steps but nothing really difficult.  Take your time and enjoy the process.  This was a fun pattern to design and to paint and I hope you enjoy it as well.  I put some greens in the tin (there is a plastic liner included with the tin) and it really looked great - I pictured some tiny white lights poking out of the greenery to finish it off...what do you think?

This pattern was designed for an old sifter I repurposed.  I pictured an old New England road side pumpkin stand, filled to the brim with pumpkins!  I had fun designing and painting this.  The design can be used on many surfaces, you are only limited by your imagination!

Now that I am living in a State where we have a serious winter, I thought I should give this State some credit and came up with a design that reflected my respect.  There is a snowshoe on one of the ornaments and the other ornament has a Christmas tree.

I designed this piece after finding a wooden pineapple tray at a recycle shop.  I have since found many of these pieces so they must be pretty common..anyway I really liked the look of this and it painted up real well.  This piece is very "New England/Cape Cod" looking to me with the red saltbox house, tall decorated trees with stars on top, and sheep and a snowman in the dooryard.  This also made me miss Cape Cod (lived there for 10 years).

I have only recently discovered the Valais Black-Nosed Sheep of Scotland.  This is my attempt at designing and painting one in a primitive type style.  They are so fluffy with their white wooly bodies and black wooly faces.  I hope you are as captivated with them as I am.  Happy Painting.

This is an original design that I painted for a metal coffee pot that I found in a "junk shop".  I love to repurpose things, to give them new life and when I saw this pot I already had the design imprinted on my brain.  There are quite a few interesting details to this pattern from the leaf wings, the check border on top, the flowing golden orange hair and stars in the sky.  This is further embellished by a torn fabric covering the handle and the raffia bow.  I enjoyed designing and painting this and hopefully you will enjoy it also!  Happy Painting!
