Watermelon soap, what? Yes, it is a watermelon soap! First of all, the scent on this is delightful. I make a point of trying each and every soap I make. This is the current soap in the house, and it is so good. Definitely one of my husband's favorites. It is a more difficult soap to make with the 3 layers of colors. I admit the white layer because it is the thinnest was a challenge for me. The bottom layer is made of two different greens. The middle is a white layer and the top layer is so cool. It even has embedded watermelon seeds throughout this layer. The embeds are made from a soap dough I made. On top of the sculpted top are more watermelon seeds as well as starry ecological glitter.
The seed embeds go all the way through the soap, from first wash to the last!
This soap is made with olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, distilled water, lye and a combination of two fragrance oils, Cucumber Melon and Black Raspberry Vanilla. Magenta mica was the colorant as well as Woodland Green and Lime Green Mojito.
Approximate weight of each bar is 3.6 ounces.
